The carbon monoxide alarm mounts on the wall surface with two screws. A loud alarm sounds when the RV or trailer has a carbon monoxide leak . Carbon monoxide is an odorless gas, a by-product of burning propane, natural gas, wood or any other carbon based fossil fuel.
