Product Description

The brains of the WaterCop system, the motor receives a signal from a wireless water sensor, and activates the valve when a leak is detected. The WaterCop System is designed to detect leaks in your plumbing system at predetermined locations, and automatically shut off the water supply to help effectively reduce the chances of major water damage associated with a leak. A WaterCop automatic water shut-off valve system will provide your home with round-the-clock indoor flood protection and works with wired and wireless flood sensors, wall switches, and most home security and home automation systems. The WaterCop System is composed of three basic parts: 1) A WaterCop Electric Actuator Motor and wireless radio receiver. 2) A ball valve connected to the WaterCop Motor to automatically turn off your water supply when any flood sensor detects water (sold separately). 3) Flood sensors, which detect water from a leak or overflow, house a wireless radio transmitter that sends a signal to the WaterCop to turn off your water supply (sold separately; several sensor configurations to choose). The motor is an industrial quality, electrically automated, "Direct Mount" actuator. Along with a shut-off valve (sold separately), it installs on the incoming main water supply line within a home. The motor has an integrated 418MHz radio frequency receiver chipset with user adjustable digital security codes, which allows nearby systems to operate independently. This unit features auxiliary low voltage contacts with modular RJ-45 interface socket for simplified connection to optional WaterCop accessories - or integrate with a third-party home security or home automation system using standard Cat-5 computer cabling.
